Youth & Contemporary Development (YCD) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Expert Tech Group, a digital skills academy focused on equipping young people and professionals with practical skills for today’s digital world.
The collaboration brings together complementary areas of expertise, creating an opportunity to connect digital skills with real-world development challenges and opportunities.
Sharing knowledge across disciplines
As part of the partnership, YCD will provides its expertise to relevant training and capacity-building activities, with a particular focus on agricultural technology, sustainable farming and the use of inovation to address challenges in agriculture and communities.
This reflects YCD’s broader work in youth empowerment, environmental sustainability and community development, as well as its interest in practical solutions that can create opportunities for young people and communities.
The partnership also creates space for knowledge to move across different fields. Digital skills can provide young people with new tools and opportunities, while knowledge of agriculture, sustainability and community development can help connect those skills to issues affecting people and communities.
Complementary roles for development
Through the collaboration, Expert Tech Group will lead the formal structure and administration of its training programmes, while YCD contributes relevant knowledge, expertise and training support within areas aligned with its experience for the common goal.
This allows each organisation to contribute what it does best while working towards a shared interest in skills development and practical learning for youths and communities.
For YCD, the partnership is an opportunity to share knowledge, contribute to capacity building and help young people connect technology with real development needs.
Building through collaboration
YCD believes that meaningful development often requires organisations with different strengths to work together.
By connecting digital skills with agriculture, sustainability and community development, this partnership provides an opportunity to explore how knowledge and technology can be applied beyond the classroom and to challenges that matter in everyday life.
We look forward to impacting and building alongside Expert Tech Group as the collaboration develops because knowledge becomes even more powerful when it is shared.
